L. Brooks Patterson, Oakland County Executive in Oakland County, MI for 27 years. I managed his visual brand identity for the last two terms of his political career until his death in 2019. I developed his new logo, all marketing materials for fundraising events, and managed his website through two election cycles and archived his online presence after his death.

BRAND DEVELOPMENT

A political figure must have a cohesive visual brand that will work across all types of marketing materials. Not just for overall personal reputation, but also political fundraisers, special events, and campaign activities. Color theory was used to determine the appropriate brand colors that represented his personality and affiliation.

EXECUTIVE GOLF OUTING

EVENT BRANDING & DESIGN

The Oakland County Executive Golf Outing is a political fundraising event that attracted community leaders from the region. As a member of the organizing committee and the sole graphic designer for the event, I was responsible for the overall look and feel for everything from the invitation to the program book and event signage. The images below represent a sample of the types of projects I was created for the last year of the golf outing, however, I worked on this event for more than eight years.
